Terms of service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Foliot when you use usefoliot.com. By creating an account or using Foliot, you agree to them. Please read them along with our Privacy policy.

Who we are

Foliot is run by Vlad Poncea, an individual based in Romania. “We” and “us” mean Vlad Poncea. Contact: hello@usefoliot.com.

The service

Foliot lets you build workflows that run automatically: a trigger starts them, and steps do the work. Foliot is free for now. We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you in advance.

Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One account is for one person. Don’t share it.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Foliot.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send spam or unsolicited bulk email with “Send email” steps;
  • store, send, or collect illegal content;
  • use “HTTP request” steps to attack or overload other services;
  • get around rate limits or other limits we set;
  • resell Foliot or access to it.

Your content and data

Your workflows and the data they handle stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and run your workflows. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy policy.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the workflows you build and what they do.
  • You are responsible for the data you send to other services through your workflows.
  • If you collect data with Foliot forms, you are responsible for having the right to process it, and for telling the people who submit it how you use it.

Other services

When you connect Google, Slack, or any other service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for those services.

Limits and fair use

To keep Foliot working well for everyone, we may rate-limit requests, pause workflows, or suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

Availability

We work to keep Foliot reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, that come from using Foliot. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Romanian or EU consumer protection law that can’t be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using Foliot at any time. To delete your account, email hello@usefoliot.com. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms. Where it is reasonable, we will give you notice first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Foliot after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes go to the courts of Romania. This does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
