Changelog
What's new in Foliot, newest first.
- A welcome email, a nudge if you haven’t started, and a note when your first workflow runs on its own. One click stops them.
- Google Sheets: Find row and Update row steps, and a New row trigger that checks your sheet every 5 minutes.
- Ask AI step: send a prompt with your data and use the answer in later steps.
- Deleting API credentials turns off the workflows that used them, so no request goes out without them.
- Friendlier data picker: a “+ Data” button, readable field names, and times shown in your workflow’s timezone.
- Duplicate a workflow from the ⋯ menu in the editor.
- Turning a workflow on tells you what to do next: copy its webhook URL, share its form link, or see when it runs.
- With your consent, Google Analytics records a few product events in the app, never your workflows or data.
- Error messages say what went wrong in plain words, and a failed run has an Edit this step button.
- A new workflow opens on its trigger and takes the trigger’s name.
- On phones the canvas runs top to bottom, and the step you open stays in view.
- Fields you haven’t filled in yet show “Not set up yet” instead of red errors.
- Run once: run the whole workflow from the editor and watch each step finish.
- Put a form on your own website with the embed code in the form trigger.
- A webhook can send people to a page you choose after your HTML form posts to it.
- Easier-to-read colors in dark mode.
- A cookie banner: no analytics until you accept.
- A request that may already have gone through isn’t sent again on retry.
- Emails from your workflows show as “your name via Foliot”.
- A Google account that needs signing in again shows Needs reconnecting, with a Reconnect button.
- Step-by-step guides and comparisons with other tools on the website.
- Google Sheets: Foliot only sees the spreadsheets you pick in Google’s file picker.
- Sign in with a link sent to your email. No passwords.
- Free and Pro plans: upgrade, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel in Settings.
- Emails when you reach 80% and 100% of your monthly runs.
- Delete your account and everything in it from Settings.
- Cleaner sign-in and alert emails.
- Foliot gets its name and its home at usefoliot.com.
- For each step: run steps once for every item in a list.
- Privacy policy and terms.
- Branch step: send a run down a Yes or No path. Workflows now show as a canvas.
- Code step: run a little JavaScript in a sandbox.
- Delay step: wait for a set time, or until a date from your data.
- Filter step: only continue if a condition is met.
- Re-run a failed run with the same data.
- An email when a run fails, at most one per workflow per hour.
- Security fixes from a review before launch.
